Line break leaves several businesses without water in DuBois

DUBOIS, Pa. -- A water main break in DuBois has left several businesses without water Tuesday.

DuBois City Manager Herm Suplizio said the break happened on Division Street around 4 a.m.

He said the 12-inch break is due to the age of the system.

Suplizio said GKN Sintered Metals, Cataldo's Collision, Way Office Supply, UPS, Clearfield Bank and Trust, and the Beaver Drive Industrial Park are without water. Surrounding homes are experiencing dirty water, he said.

He said the break is expected to be fixed by 5 p.m. Tuesday.
