72-year-old's wheelchair stolen while he was fishing
BEDFORD TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WJAC) — State police say they’re investigating after a Johnstown man had his wheelchair stolen while fishing in Bedford County.
Troopers say the 72-year-old man was fishing in the area of Evitts Creek Road and Thomas Koon Dam in Bedford Township Friday when his Black Quantum Power Wheelchair, worth about $9,200, was stolen from the back of his vehicle.
State police say they are looking for a Red new model Dodge Ram believed to be involved in the theft.
