Man attacked by suspects wielding machete in Times Square: police

NEW YORK (TND) — A man was attacked by three suspects who were armed with a machete in New York Thursday afternoon, according to authorities.

A spokeswoman for the New York Police Department said the man, who was not identified, was stabbed in both legs around 1 p.m.

The spokeswoman also said three people were arrested in connection with the attack.

The New York Post reported the incident broke out near the McDonald's in Time Square.

The media outlet shared photos of at least one suspect in handcuffs.

The man who was attacked was taken to an area hospital, where he is reportedly in stable condition.
