GEISTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — A popular Johnstown steak and alehouse announced it would be closing.
Tulunes Steak and Alehouse located on Lulay Street near Scalp Avenue made the announcement Tuesday in a Facebook post. “When we began this journey 16 months ago, it was with the goal of providing the Laurel Highlands with a real steak and alehouse. With all the wonderful feedback and great reviews, we feel we accomplished that,” the post read.
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. -- The Dollar General in Johnstown on Bridge Street is closed until further notice after it failed a health inspection.
According to the Department of Agriculture, the store was out of compliance after an inspection Tuesday.
According to the report, more than 200 rat droppings were found in the back storage area of the Dollar General and on top of products.
Inspectors said they also found two dead rats in snap traps.

ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) -- Altoona police were dispatched to Popeyes on Plank Road Friday morning for an overnight burglary. The store manager reported at total $300 was stolen from two cash registers in the store and one of those registers was gone, according to court documents.
Police said security cameras captured several suspects entering, one through an unlocked rear door and one through an unlocked lobby door.
Altoona police later learned two of those men, Khiry Cannady and Joshua Gregg had been stopped by Logan Township police the night before with a partially pried open cash register, latex gloves, a hammer and a 22-caliber handgun.

Donning a black and red #34 jersey of his late father, Pittsburgh Steelers veteran defensive lineman Cameron Heyward was emotional Sunday afternoon as he addressed the media following the team's 19-16 victory over the Atlanta Falcons.

The fire marshal is investigating after a fire broke out at an apartment building in Jefferson County Friday, leaving four families displaced, officials said.
According to Perry Township Fire Chief Tim Fetterhoff, crews were dispatched around 4 p.m. Friday to an apartment building along Route 536 in Perry Township.
